Smalltown, USA

A well-kept secret for over 100 years, the town of Narberth, PA is now known as one of Philadelphia’s most desirable suburbs. Narberth residents are able to enjoy the perks of living close to the city while residing in a quaint town where quality living and close-by dining and shopping destinations intersect. The Elm will be one of the first new construction projects in the town in many years.

Remember a time when your neighbors knew your name and kids lined up on the sidewalk for school?

In today’s fast-paced, cooped-up society, Narberth takes an extra beat. The town is small enough to recognize a friend at the corner store, yet large enough to have all the dining, retail, and conveniences you expect.

Small Town, Strong Community.

Once an overlooked gem on the Main Line, Narberth is now known as a family-oriented town where neighbors help and care for each other.

Neighborly connection and gathering has always been rich in Narberth’s soil.

More than 125 years ago, The Quakers carved off a piece of PA land for farming and villages, naming it “The Elm.” When the railroads expanded to the area, the town’s connection grew to Philadelphia and outward, but still has never lost its tight-knit community feel. Taking the name of a main street, Narberth went on to thrive as its population sharply rose after the two World Wars. Pride is knitted into the town’s social fabric – a place where you are happy to live, know those around you, and to continue to grow together. Narberth, the heart of the Main Line.
